    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Sets up and performs machining operations on 2 or more complex machines in the cell. Expert in one machine.  Makes adjustments to meet customer requirements.  Works to close tolerances.
    • Performs all responsibilities within productivity and quality expectations. Follows work procedures.
    • Acts as a troubleshooter for machining problems. Resolves problems or refers problems to appropriate individual.
    • Trains some operators in machining processes.
    • May occasionally perform responsibilities of an assembler.
    • Maintains clean and safe work environment. Follows safety and environmental procedures and regulations.  Reports safety incidents to supervisor.
    • Makes recommendations for improvements to work processes. Contributes to 5 S program in work area.
    • Provides a high level of service to all internal and external customers. Contributes to positive teamwork environment.
    • Performs other duties as assigned. Participates in training/learning other positions.  Accomplishes related results as needed.

    MINIMUM EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • High School diploma / GED
    • 1-3 years manufacturing experience.
