We have an opportunity for an Inspector B to join our team in Bloomfield, CT. This position will perform basic inspection activities of product, materials, first piece inspection and in-process monitoring as assigned. This position reports to the Value Stream Manager/Sr. Team Leader on work assignments to meet production schedules. The position will have a dotted line reporting relationship to the Sr. Team Leader, Quality Assurance regarding quality issues.

High school graduate or GED.
3-5 years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
Skills/Abilities Essential to the Position:
Attention to detail
Communication (speaking, questioning, listening)
Read and interpret complex blueprints
Completing Inspection Method Sheets/First Articles
Customer focus; occasional interface with customer inspectors
Use precision instruments, including coordinate measuring machines
Knowledge Essential to the Position:
Geometric Tolerances and Dimensions
Frequent mental and visual attention
Occasional (15-40%) lifting and moving materials up to 50 lbs
