Kaman Air Vehicles & MRO has an exciting opportunity for a talented Systems Electrical Engineer to join our outstanding Engineering team.
This role would be for support of the new Unmanned fully autonomous KMAX helicopter program. We are seeking a highly motivated person with a desire to be on the cutting edge of the autonomous aircraft industry. Minimum requirements include a BS in Electrical engineering or Computer engineering with 5 to 7 years’ experience. The ideal candidate should possess a spectrum of systems engineering skills including Flight Control Systems Design or Guidance/Navigation & Control (GNC), aircraft integration and system Test. Also, experience/familiarity in system tools: Matlab, Simulink, CONDUIT, aircraft schematics, flight testing and civil certification efforts.
The Engineering department at Kaman AVMRO includes individuals with diverse skill sets who are exposed not only to the design and analysis of systems, but also participate in the manufacturing, test, development, and certification processes.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in aeronautical or mechanical engineering with at least 1 to 2 years graduate level work leading to a Master’s degree or equivalent learning experience.
Experience: 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in engineering. Broad knowledge of an advanced and technically specialized field with strong capabilities in aircraft mechanical systems.
