This position exists to send and receive inbound, outbound, and internal goods and materials to, from, and within Bal Seal Engineering.

 

Pay range is $17.00- $22.00 per hour depending upon experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Prepares outbound packages for shipment
  • Receives incoming shipments and internal; material movements, and verifies materials received against ERP records
  • Works with Sales for date and ship method changes
  • Monitors, tracks, and resolves delayed and/or late shipments
  • Assures all documentation is accurate
  • Schedules carrier pick-ups and maintains records of all in and outbound shipments
  • Works in customer portals to perform shipments
  • Works with carriers for any special shipping requirements
  • Works with other departments to coordinate shipment details (quantities etc.)
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education:

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

 

  • Minimum 1-year experience in shipping and/or receiving positions

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Able to work with highly-detailed processes with a high level of accuracy
  • Must have knowledge for international shipments (FedEx/ UPS / DHL)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to function accurately in a high-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively operate a computer
  • Strong math aptitude
  • ­Strong verbal and written communication skills
