This position exists to operate automated machinery for manufacturing. 

 

This is a 2nd shift position.

Pay range is $17.90 per hour depending upon experience, with a dollar uplift shift differenetial. Candidates should expect to start at the beggining of the pay range. 

Candidates for this role will be expected to train on 1st shift during their training period which is typically three months.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
  • Uses computer-controlled, and/or manually-controlled equipment to select, position, and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines
  • Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete simple tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion
  • Works under the close direction of tenured personnel in the functional area
  • Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job
  • Observes while the machine is being repaired by a Technician
  • Observes and follows all safety protocols
  • Learns the use of precision measuring tools
  • Perform daily housekeeping operations in the work area to maintain a safe workplace
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

Experience:

  • 1 years of automation operation experience 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to promote and work in a highly collaborative environment
  • Ability to perform in a medium to fast-paced environment
