  Working under the direction of the Quality Manager, the Quality Supervisor is responsible for product quality and delivery requirements for multiple programs. This leader is accountable for attaining metrics, targets, and trends for key parameters of assigned areas of responsibility. They advocate continuous improvement principles and concepts, and lead efforts within assigned areas to attain the facility’s vision of cellular manufacturing within a lean enterprise.

  The Assembly Production Supervisor is responsible for leading value stream initiatives and responsibilities, while meeting business commitments for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People. The successful candidate will ensure KPI and targets are met, in accordance with production schedule and customer commitments. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, 2+ years of experience in a leadership capacity, and a high interest in lean manufacturing principles.

Working under general direction with minimum supervision, a successful candidate in this role will provide quality technical support and training at our headquarters in Bloomfield, CT and at various customer sites including international customers. Duties and responsibilities include servicing K-Max customers and promoting good customer relations.  

  Assists the Lead and/or Supervisor in the departmental processes within the assigned areas.  Leads the effort to ensure the productivity, quality, safety, and day-to-day operations of the areas.  Position is also responsible for performing the processes required in the assigned areas, which will include the Shipping & Receiving and Stockroom areas, to control inventory of materials, hardware, and shop supplies; complete all material handling functions for TATS controlled items per appropriate procedures and certification requirements.

This role is a key position within the Engineering department, and is responsible for the technical and administrative leadership of an engineering team.  This role will be highly involved in the planning, organizing and directing of departmental work activity to support company business objectives. 

Works under the general direction of the Production Supervisor and daily direction of a Multi-process Cell Leader with limited supervision. Performs multiple fabrication tasks in assigned team, project or functional area. Tasks will be performed within full-scale production manufacturing operation and will include tasks such as routine and repetitive fabrication, mechanical assembly, and quality assurance processes following established methods, policies and procedures. This position has multiple levels and candidates will be placed according to level of experience.   We are hiring for first (7:00AM-3:30PM) and second shift (3:30PM- 12:00AM.)

  Perform complex edge break and hand finishing work as well as all assembly operations as part of the production process in the assigned cell. Knowledgeable about every aspect of the cell. This position is for 1st shift hours: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

The position reports to Value Stream Manager/Sr. Team Leader on work assignments to meet production schedules. This position has a dotted line to Report to Quality Assurance Supervisor regarding quality issues.    This is a second shift position.  Hours are 3:30PM - 1AM - this includes one hour of mandatory overtime at the end of shift for a required 45 hour week.  OT pay is 1.5x the hourly rate for all hours in excess of 40 in a week.   Invested in our future together.
